First time have just set this up and it sure was a lot of steps. Not like other NOS raids that's for sure.

I thought SFT III was a hassle. The interface was hard to understand and when the window filled up you had to drag the sets down to match them up. I find most hardcard raid programs much easier to work with.

No. It's not you. I had to joy of dealing with Solstice a few times on my previous' school's Oracle boxes. It had 0,1 and 10. It was a pain because if I didn't set it up exactly correctly I had to start the re-install from scratch. =(

thks MsMittens, I feel better now. Maybe next time I'll pay for the good solaris product, as the freebee is ... just ok.
