I found this piece of trivia about Gen. Custer
This is the town where I live.

Tradition says that the people of Front Royal
danced in the streets when Custer died.

If you're interested, there's a good book about this topic and the plight of the Native American titled " Bury my heart at Wounded Knee." I think the authors name is Dee Brown.
