Does anyone on here have Bell Sympatico High-Speed Edition internet service? I have it and I cannot find any firewalls that will configure to it. My Norton Personal Firewall 2002, McAfee Firewall 3.0, and ZoneAlarm Pro did not configure to my internet service (Sympatico).

You can either use a linux box and configure ip tables (friggin pain in the ass)
or go buy a linksys router and set it to deny all incoming packets. that will work. There about 50 or so bucks.

Agnitum Outpost is by far the most configurable Software intrusion detection prog I have found so far! I ditched ZoneAlarm and TPF when I saw how cool it was :)

What do you mean it "did not configure to my internet service"?
The firewall isn't supposed to replace your sympatico connection manager if this is what you mean...

No I mean it won't let my internet connect. I need one that will configure to my internet connection. I think the firewalls are thinking my internet connection is an attack and are automatically blocking it. I need one that I can configure to accept the connection. Even if I have to stop a blocking rule.

Sygate www.sygate.com
tiny www.tinysoftware.com
outpost www.agnitum.com

All are fully configurable firewalls with advanced rules and the like. I'm gonna add this post to my notepad for future use.

Outpost on http://www.agnitum.com is easy to configure with many options.
If you want to control all, you can use BlackIce but it is not "easy to use".
