Web hosting recommendations.

I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for a good web hosting service. The company I am now working for needs to use one until we get our stuff up and going. It is a small company less than 50 users. We’ll need email and web space. We already have our domain name and it is .us so it has to allow for that. If anything comes to mind please pm me. Thanks.

Well what exactly do you need? php, asp? cgi-bin? database?
Is cheap hosting a priority? How much space do you need?

OK more specifics.

We just need web space it’s not going to be a fancy site trying to sell anything (no database) just provides information about the company. It will only need to be up for hopefully not more that 8 months. Just until things get rolling. The pages they have already designed were done in FrontPage so that needs to be uploaded. Needs to support .us as the top-level domain and matching email. Price is not the main issue I was more wondering if anyone had any good experiences with any that would make them recommend a particular company.

Sorry to make it sound like I was just looking for a company (there everywhere). I just wanted to know if anyone had any good experiences.

try asking some of the local isp in Austin, they'll be glad to quote - just be sure to get details on redundancy and latency from them.

Thanks fr0z3n however, we already have a domain name that fits the company. Not that yours is not cool
