* Free AntiOnline.org SubDomains! Try visiting http://YourUserName.antionline.org It will link to your profile by default! Want to change it to point to your own website? Use the "Edit Your SubDomain" option under the "Your Account" box on the main page!

* On the page that displays the list of forums, you can now click on "Threads" to get a ranked list of users that have made threads in that forum.

* Posts made more than 2 weeks ago will have a blinking date, so that users recognize that it wasn't a recent thread. This may help stop some confusion with people replying to very old threads, without realizing that they were very old threads.

Enjoy!

Oh, a hint to users who try to surf to <username>.antionline.com, like I did... JP specificly stated that it is <username>.antionline.org :)

I'd just hate to see the size of that zone file... LOL

JP
June 4th, 2002, 10:21 PM
Greetings All:

Actually the zone file is very small. We do wildcard DNSing, throw everything *.antionline.org over to a special php script on the server. The php script does some database lookups, and either translates the user's name into its ID number and displays their profile, or forwards along to the user's specified domain name.

Fun stuff....

JP so it's just a subdomain that is a link to the users accual domain. It's not like geocities.

Greetings:

That's right Snake_Byte, just a cool domain that's nice and short for your site. We may offer webspace in the future, but if we do, it wouldn't be for a long while from now.

ac1dsp3ctrum, you don't use Proxomitron? There's "Kill Blink" or similar filter as a default!

How does it work with people who have special characters like {P2P}Apocalyspe? Do you just convert his superscript 2 to a normal 2? What about the curly braces?
