Guys, do a search and you'll find the answer if you don't already know it like The Preacher does.
It's just a numbers sequencing problem. Think logically and you'll see.
I'll give you a hint, it's known as Conway Sequence.

The integer sequence beginning with a single digit in which the next term is obtained by describing the previous term. Starting with 1, the sequence would be defined by "1, one 1, two 1s, one 2 one 1," etc., and the result is 1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211, 13112221, 1113213211
Thats the explanation, i think.

I still didn't get it even after blow's message (which by the way was a direct quote from http://mathworld.wolfram.com/LookandSaySequence.html ....). I had to click there a link that directed me to http://www.research.att.com/cgi-bin/access.cgi/as/njas/sequences/eisA.cgi?Anum=005150 which gave an example I finally also understood :):
Example: E.g. the term after 1211 is obtained by saying "one 1, one 2, two 1's", which gives 111221.
Hope this helps someone else too who doesn't dare to ask....
