    Domain Name Registration

    Hi all,

    I am curious, When you register a domain name where is the info stored.

    I know there are lots of companies who register domains for you but what do these companies actually do.

    They must register the domain somewhere for you?

    If anyone has any info on the domiain name registration process and what actually gos on behind the scenes I would love to hear about it.
