XPde makes X11 look like XP/2K
I originally posted this in general chit chat... but apparently JUPM doen't think that those are front page worthy... so move it if you want...
My buddy just sent me a link in to this in my email...
Don't ask me why you'd want to do this... but it is rather interesting...
What is XPde?
It's a desktop environment(XPde) and a window manager(XPwm) for Linux. It tries to recreate the Windows XP interface to-the-pixel point. Nothing more, no clipboard compatibility between Gtk and Qt applications, no emulation of Windows applications, no unification on the widgets of X applications, just a desktop environment and a window manager.

I feel a lawsuit coming on... m$ is going to have a field day with this one!

Well, one reason might be for users that are just moving to *nix, but I don't see why they can't use KDE, I mean, it looks like Windows. My guess is that people are just to used to Windows, and something that doesn't look like it, just isn't right to them. But who knows.
