Hey guys
i just thought i would introduce myself, im Ghost_Law (refrence to Ghost in a Shell kind of lol), i have just brought Linux Redhat installed it and got it working first try on dual boot with Windows Xp. :D
I have never used Linux before and am not sure what its capable of doing, i need to learn it for and MCSE course that i am doing, so any advice or guildence would be truely grateful.

Hi Ghost_law and welcome.
So, you need to learn Linux for an MCSE course? can you provide more details and then I`m sure you will get lots of information.

hey,
OK well hmmmm, My course incorperates networking and i have to know as much about both Windows 2000 server and Linux everything i can get hold of for when i do my exams.
So what i really need information on is for root user, for e.g networking config and setup on linux.
you need to know anymore please just ask.

MCSE= Microsoft Certified Systems engineer. not linux. lol

hey,
i know that MCSE = Microsoft Certfied Systems Engineer, but im also doing the A+ hardware course and a netowrking course altogether which is costing me like £4500 to do.

No doubt, that Linux-cookbook is gonna be a must have, even for advanced Linux users. Coupling that with the man pages should take you as far as you want to go. Have fun man. :D
