Trend Micro Service Pack

Is anyone using Trend Micro Scanmail and/or officescan? If so, have you installed the latest SP? At this time I do not have a test box for exchange (scanmail). Hoping someone has tested Trend's latest SP.

Hi, what patch level are you at right now?

Good idea not to patch unless you test 1st.

I never apply Trend patches unless I have an image of the server to quick restore.

Do you have the ability to image? I use Acronis True Image Server.

According to Trend they are changing their patern file numbering sequence. Sometime down the road if the upgrade is not complete pattern files updates will not be available. I have avoided all patches. Most of the ones I tested (Especially ScanMail) crashed the box. I would usually use my exchange backup server for testing but last week I had a "Really Good Idea" which means I gotta rebuild the thing. So much for trying to use apache for MS webmail - on the same box... End Tangent
