Blaster-B is functionally equivalent to its predecessor but creates a file called teekids.exe - rather than msblast.exe - in the Windows system folder. Parson's online handle is "teekid" or "t33kid". This and various other clues led the authorities to his door and he was arrested on 29 August 2003.

I'm gonna write the "rcgreen" virus, and when they arrest me I'll

Then again, if they come knocking at your door you could say that someone else put your handle on the malware just to get you in hot water. Unless the cops find evidence on one of your boxes that you wrote it I doubt just having your nickname on it will hold up in court.

What is the good of doing something bad unless you can brag about it. :p

I'm sure if he was dumb enough to write a virus and put a traceable handle on it. He was probably dumb enough to be sleeping by his computer in his moms basement by the computer he altered the virus on with all the info still in there somewhere.
