Excuse me, is there an airport nearby large enough for a private jet to land?

When you post links, please only post the link and then you can put a lil dscription in breckets after the link, posting links like that just looks messy....
nice find.

Hi CopyRight,
I tried to link...I tried copy n' paste the green, copy n' paste the off the address bar, copy n' paste the whole description, bookmarking the page and dropping, dragging the link box that says " drap and drop this icon to create a link to this page "onto my link bar and then dropping ( the last one I just tried again with the above edit result )...aside from these I really have no idea how to create a link if these above don't work.
Anytime I post and there's not a direct link to the site it's because I can't create one...because, beyond the aforementioned, if they don't work, I don't know how.
Sometimes these work and sometimes they don't. When I drop onto my link bar they work fine...but they don't always work when I try to drop them in a post. Like my post in Chit-Chat..."how does virus/spyware/......" one link worked and the other one didn't...and I went back to that site and tried to find a way to link and couldn't.
I just tried a link off my link bar on another site and the link is there in my post...but the same link doesn't work here ?

Just try to put url inside [ ] at the start of the url, and put /url inside [ ] at the end ?
so now I'm in my SIXTIES FFS
WTAF, how did that happen, so no more alterations to the sig, it will remain as is now

This stems off of foxyloxley: http://www.antionline.com/misc.php?s=&action=bbcode. Just have to look in AO faq!

Hi kurt-der-koenig,
Until foxyloxley told me I didn't know you could do that...because I've dragged n' dropped on other sites with no problems...
Looking in the FAQ's is great when you know what you're looking for...I regularly use the "search" here...and read most of the stickies...but when you assume a link should work...because it works elsewhere without problems...then you don't think it's the link, but something else...otherwise I would have gone to the search section, punched up " how do you create a link " and tried to find out how...
but as I already said...I thought the link 'already existed' and just wouldn't work here for some reason...maybe you can explain to me why it does work at other forums ( without doing the url thing ) and not at this one ?
The FAQ's are useful only if your looking for something specific and know what that is...otherwise you're just walking blind in every direction.
Knowledge is acquired...http://shellcity.net/...if you can explain my question it will be appreciated.

I usually just copy the address and paste it here, the URL tags get inserted automaticly, but you gotta have http:// or www. in front of the address of the forum software won't recognize it as a link?

Doesn't that only work on the 'post reply' option ?
Not in the quick reply section at the bottom of the thread.
And you need to ensure that 'automatically parse' option is checked.

Hi CopyRight,
The http:// was in the address and still didn't work...http://shellcity.net/...but this works fine elsewhere...and so the mystery continues. Funky...this time it did ?
Maybe that's it...I do use the quick reply more than the post reply...thanks, foxyloxley.
