Santa - I want this...
Hello all-
In preparing to become a paradigm of consumerism I started looking around for X-Mas ideas. Not to give away the fact I, or any of us, work a lot with computers, I kindly submit a few ideas I found for the IT enthusiast for this year's "gimme-gimme-gimme season". I was just checking out http://www.thinkgeek.com/
Blunt Desktop Signs: http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/cubegoodies/7476/
Ecosphere: http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/cubegoodies/7c86/
Electronic Gadgets for the Evil Genius: 28 Build-it Yourself Gadgets: http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/madscientist/70b5/
Homer Simpson (of course) Cubicle Tin Signs : http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/cubegoodies/6901/
PowerSquid Outlet Multiplier : http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/77e6/
And of course for security:
Key Katcher: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/security/5a05/
Lazer Trip Wire : http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/security/78df/
Mandylion Password Manager: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/security/7573/
StealthSwitch: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/security/76ed/
USB Wireless Security Lock: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/security/698d/
I would welcome any other ideas/site IT people would like so we can all ask Santa for the best toys.
\"We\'re the middle children of history.... no purpose or place. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We\'ve all been raised by television to believe that one day we\'ll all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars -- but we won\'t. And we\'re learning slowly that fact. And we\'re very, very pissed off.\" - Tyler (Brad Pitt) Fight Club.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.

I want two things for Christmas, but santa can't get me either.
I had to google 'jfgi' to see what it meant. The irony is overwhelming.
