A long, long time ago I used to be a certified Toshiba engineer.. The Tecras were horrible to take apart.. 60-70 screws with 2 different sizes and 4-5 different lengths.. Took me 2 hours to replace the main pcb..

I can remember a putting together a connector that would clear the bios passwords.. You had to connect several pins on the printer port, switch the laptop on and it would clear the bios passwords.. You wouldn't happen to have those schematics?

Yes, it would clear the bios passwords. And sorry I don't have those schematics.

This might sound silly but have you thought about reading it back to front?

I have followed the directions on taking my Toshiba T9100 apart but at step ten there is a purplish/brownish wire that leads down from the top of the upper casing down towards the soundcard. I cannot for the life of me find where this wire pushes onto.

Any help would be appreciated
