Are you using the sysprep utility from Microsoft before sending the ghost image to a network server?

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...ep/license.asp

With it you can wipe the unique security identifier (SID) as well as any user specific information. You can also create an answer file that will fill in most of the information that is needed on reboot (domain, TCP/IP settings, etc). You will still have to provide a host name after pulling the image onto a new pc. If you are ghosting with out using either sysprep or another SID wiping utility (like ghost walker), you will run into issues with multiple computers with the same SID on your network. (this really screws up your domain).

Hope this helps.
