Well, being poor is not an excuse for stealing software... I think Warez is bad, but from a practical point of view, totally eradicating it isn't possible, and attempting to do so would mean a lot of restrictions on comptuter hardware and OSes, leading to a potential Big Brother kinda situation.

While using most warez is stealing, some warez actually produce more income for the software vendors.
As a programmer soon to finish school I'm gonna have influence on choice of programming tools in whatever company I start working. Of course I want to use tools I'm familiar with, those I'v used while I was in school. And many of the programming tools I have are warez.
So inestead of me buying one license, I can actually make my company buy 15 licenses. I think I deserve a sales commission or something

it´s simple consumer activism. And if you call me a thief I call the producers frauds.
Do you realy think that I would pay $$$ for an OS that has 30 000 bugs in it? (and for the *nix freaks, everyone don´t have the time to sit and configure their systems
Dear Santa, I liked the mp3 player I got but next christmas I want a SA-7 surface to air missile

Fortunately the Internet is a vast unregulated space.
Warez will be around for awhile, along with p0rn!
