I worked in an internetcafé they charge 20 Rand (+/- 2 USD) per hour and there is a huge demand for internet cafés. You won't believe how many tourist make use of these establishments. The only downside of starting one here is the connection speed they have over here the fastest connection available is ISDN. They also used to sell food and drinks some even alcohol. If I go on holiday I'd rather go to an internetcafé then do my interneting in some hotel that charges you ten times more per hour. Another pleasure of using an internetcafé is the anonimity you have...you can do anything. The thing here is no internet café here has a firewall or what ever...
