mentioned already address spoofing is very common, but also as mentioned by |The|Specialist a friend of yours may have become infected by a worm and because your in the address book you have been included. Its sometimes dificult to tell what realy is going on. When spoofing ocures the from address is faked, if you take a look at the full email headers, you can learn how to detect forgery in mail headers. Useualy in your options there is a section for display properties, and in there will be the setting for the headers.

You would want to locate the isp home page for the person who is sending you the violating email, and send an email to the [email protected] whatever isp may be.
