souleman i have seen the film. (out of topic- the timetable of TV had this film on the category of "Tech Thrillers") It doesn't want to surprise but show the facts as they were. Or the producers could have used many ways to make people liked it such as adults material, big names, 3D hacking environment and many more.

KM is being played by Skeet Ulrich in operation takedown (or hackers 2).
If you have some time on your hands it is a nice watch. There was alot of controversy about it on the net and it is not a blockbuster like the Matrix is.
Actually the controversy allready started when the book was originally released.

ii-monk> My points wasn't that it was so bad that it didn't get released in america. It didn't get released because it was VERY single sided. The entire thing was bassed off the movie takedown which was very much sided to make KM look evil and TS to look like a god. Now the book by Litman (can't remember the name) is the exact opposite) making KM look like a scapegoat and TS to look like an ass, which isn't right either. But the movie is far from the truth either way.

I watched the "animatrix" over the weekend. It was pretty cool. It will def. answer a lot of the questions that people have been talking about. Kind of like... go back and fill you in on all the stuff they skipped over.

Anywho... I think it is officially released tuesday 6/3/03 so check it out.

It is online already (for bout a week or so now)... so if you know where to look... it is out there.

    Enjoy!

PS: I didn't want to talk too much about it cause I hate ruining surprises... but the die hard matrix fans will love it. Even my pop loved it! Sorry if anyone else mentioned it... if so, I must have missed that.

I was gonna dl animatrix but couldn't find a good copy. Last check was something like 140+ hours. Not worth the wait. Especially since I can go spend $10 and buy it today
