I believe it has something to to with dns (try turning dns caching off?) ,i have not used doze for a while but i noticed the same thing with outpost , it seem to do it most after making tons of connections ie p2p. If you reboot it will go back to normal , Outpost has a forum which i am quite sure would have a full answer for you.
