Bballad he never altered the meaning of the quote. If you take a really good look you will notice where he has placed the quotes.
“Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.” Science, which once thought the case for higher power was closed, is now trending back toward his view.
quotation mark- a punctuation mark used to attribute the enclosed text to someone else
You would be correct if he had placed quotation marks on the whole entire thing then yes he would have been incorrect. But he didn't do that ...
Even I undestood and noticed that he was not trying to change the meaning of the quote.
Seriously learn how to read ...
