I ran the tests that WD gave me and it said it could not be repaired error code 0226 and to contact WD support (which i am about to do).

I can see it in BIOS and the WD diagnostic tools did see it also.

And a bit of info that might help, for about a week before this happened I was hearing a strange sound from ym PC but could not find it, I ran tests and picked up nothing so i ignored it. It kinda sounded like a charge up and a charge down sound.

I bought it at the beginning on 2003 and it was a 3 year warrenty so yes it is, but I also need the information on the drive so i am willing do to anything in my power to save it.
