Don't forget that the authors of FP2000 are/were students - the inclusion of the JS was seen as funny.... it's not anything to worry about as such but if you're really worried by it just delet the template - it's not needed by the main program at all

Thanks ZW for the info and link, a very good answer. Yes, i knew the authors are/were students, very clever ones i might add as i always liked 1p2G, even over the expensive offerings out there. When they started the new (not yet out) version they asked if we'd be willing to buy (vs. free) an improved version. Most of us replied in the affirmative. Must have changed crews since then, or key people graduated and went on to other things because the next version is still on the stove somewhere. They also got into a testy discussion with someone over the name which i for one thought was nothing short of blackmail because the "name" was not even close to the product of whoever was using the synonym as i recall looking them up.
If they get back to the project, and put out their "new & improved" version i'll definitely buy a copy just to help them pay their tuition for work they did in years past, it's a good piece.
In the meanwhile i've deleted that part of the program and will use it, notepad, and the html editor that comes with Mozilla 1.6... just five bucks for the disk in snailmail, or free as a download. The t-shirt isn't too bad either.
