GET RID OF KAZAA! That is one of the very worst for Spyware and viruses that I have come accross to date!
Get a free copy of Anti Virus Grisoft (AVG) from www.grisoft.com. As far as I can tell, after testing Norton, Grisoft, McCafey, Dr. Solomons, Sophos, and many others, I still can't find one as good and as affordable and easy to use as Grisoft AVG. If you have the money, do what hexadecimal said and get thyself a copy of XP! Find it more stable and reliable than most of the windows OS's. If you want evenmore sability then you should go along the Linux / Unix route and get something of that nature, but then you might have driver issues with the OS (I'm no expert on Linux and can't say)
