JP.. "fully evolved " ? Surely you're speaking of what you perceive the general masses to be.
I'm not defending them all but.. the education level in Iraq is/was perceived as pretty good. educated people can (and mostly do) make rational (by our standards) decisions and actions. As in any society, the "uneducated" will do what we might see as irrational. To make judgements based upon a few radicals and imply that there's no hope might be taking it too far.. (I hope)

Obviously, their value system (in terms of what one's individual life is worth) is different than ours. To commit suicide and think that it will bring greater glory is just something we can't fathom. They have (the radicals) a different mindset.. but we can't judge ALL of them based upon just a few, can we ?
