Thanks for the responses!
I moved the hard drive to a desktop; which autoruns and delete's virus' on startup.
It cleared something off the drive, and some of the data was then recoverable. Thankfully everything that had to be recovered was; I only lost my iTunes library and some other security related programs, but they can be replaced in time.
It was the college work, and records of the last few years which I needed, and got.
