everyone,
umm..I am overwhelmed with the kind of concern you guys have shown regarding the earthquake disaster here in Pakistan. I was not expecting it at all. All I thought was that I am amongst the geeks of security who would give a damm to the rest of world and stay busy in what they do. But I am glad that its not like this.

nihil,MURACU,morganlefay yes I and my family and friends are absolutely fine(Though the jolts were very scary and I have never been through such intense feeling in my life ever before.) The disaster was more towards the north side of Pakistan. And it is very sad that the death toll is rising every day. Locals have shown great concerns and there have been instances where they donated everything they owned for the relief. International community is even showing a great concern towards the disaster. May I take the opportunity, to request you all, for raising a fund for relief and sending it to the Pakistani government through your local government. Please, do let me know, if i can be of any help in this regard.

[Problem] Yes Katja, you understood, what I wanted to convey. but you know, we all make mistakes at one time or the other. What matters is that we give them an opportunity to learn. I,myself have transitioned alot technically, since my first post on Antionline (though, I hav'nt been posting alot but I am on Antionline for like for more then 4 years). We cannot afford to lose the data.

I am thinking of slaving the disk today and use some tools (ntfsundelete, ntfsdos) with it.Besides MURACU, the data was residing in the system's partition (since it was a user profile). Any further suggestion with that??

I "thank you" all for your concern regarding the disaster. Atleast it brought a pleasant smile to me.
