This might be a bit late, but have you tried doing a System Restore, go back before you got infected. give it a try.(if it's enabled)

Start\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

LOM = LAN on Motherboard.
It mean Show "LAN on Motherboard" Control.
On systems where you can install an external LAN interface, it will warn you that you already have a built-in LAN interface.Appears to be a feature on certain Dell systems.
