Sick to profit from it, definitely. But if so many across the world are compelled to 'rubberneck' (local term) along the highway near a crash then is that in and of itself so sick or is it just a quirk of society in general. With only information about the trend from across the pond and the US that makes it so far a Western-only thing, anybody from other parts of Europe care to weigh in on people gawking at car accidents and the like?
