At geeksquad, we have a data recovery service... We have our own service center just for these types of things..
USB drives, flash sticks and cards, cds dvds hdds floppys zip, etc etc etc
its not cheep though.. our little pricing sheet says "data recovery, 250$ - 2500$"
so it is possible.. it just may not be cheep.
i suppose if you really wanted to have fun and get dirty, you could look up how that flash device works and design something to pull the info directly off the chip it is stored in..
there is always a way to do something in the computer world, it just may not be cheep
work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger
