Yes Yes My mistake ...

MLF:
I have a dsl line at home...from ma bell...which is supposed to be up to 5MB down...they consider that the Highspeed edition which usually runs about 50.00 cdn.
I complain about the speed, how its not even close to 5 MB (its not... because of old infastructure) and threaten to go to another ISP...and they lower my rate for a 1 year contract...when that expires I phone them again and complain....has worked now for 2 years...
32.00 CDN

Same here with Rogers Cable. I pay $45/month and get 60GB/month and it's suppose to be 5MB but I've never seen it over 3
I'll have to try your methods MLF with Rogers and see if it works.

Well when have YOU ever seen a "manager" do anything fast? That's why they hire "workers"

Yeah, a download manager is diferent than an internet accelerator... People use those managers to download from file servers like Rapidshare, MegaUploads, etc...
Internet accelerators are "supposed" to help the overall speed of your internet, including download/upload.
My cable in Missouri is $30 USD, it is supposed to be a 3MB cap, but every test I use shows way more... Either way it is fast enough for me.
