I really Don't see this happening to every machine. Especially for some time. I think there are a number of pitfalls for this type of Full Disk Encryption solution that need to be resolved first. Namely, data recovery in the event of a hardware failure, or compatbility with two factor authentication and/or PKI solutions. For a number of companies, a simple password at a pre-boot screen does not meet the corporate security policy, and FDE software that would meet this requirement would definately not operate well on top of an already encrypted drive.
