I'd just like to thank all of you for your support, thoughts, and prayers through all of this.
It is appreciated. I just called the court house to make sure that it's still on for tommorow &
guess what?.. They've moved the date yet again. This could prove to be a good thing. They also said that they aren't pressing any charges at the moment. If they don't press charges then I'll be able to sue for taking my car and arresting me. The procedures that they took during the arrest was messed up beyond belief. Wish me luck.. :D

As usual, oblio, you fail to grasp the whole of the situation. People support RA because he is respected, and a friend, and none of us want to see him go. I don't approve of his actions leading up to arrest (you already know how I feel about drugs) but that doesn't mean that I wish bad things upon him, because he is a great person. You see, oblio, that's what friends do.

Hmm....wtf has this world gone to? People wishing Remote Access farewell and it degenerates into a flame war???? I hope nothing terrible happens to you. If they (law enforcement) did screw up in reading you your rights, they the evidence they gathered will be thown out of court (fruits from poison apple will not be allowed in a court of law). So, good luck and god bless. Hope you have learned from this, and take your second chance in life with a grain of salt. Do not mess with drugs anymore. I will double you will ever get a second chance like this in life.

Is there any sense of compassion or any feeling in you? Yes there are those among us that aren’t perfect (surprise I am one of them) and I don’t say they should get away with it all but why be so stone set against him? If u r to insult another how is that different than breaking any other rule/law? “Pain” in general is distributed on the receiving end no matter the cause or the person. One person’s offense is always looked on with judging eyes; try being judged yourself! Take what you do and let everyone know… you think you will have all the approval or will you be bashed as you are bashing? I’m not here to be a mediator but lay off! I have my “prayers” on the betterment of everyone’s situations, not just because of his situation or any others. What is done is of no consequence but what happens is what matters, and I wish the best for RA and for anyone else needing help. STOP JUDGING AND TRY TO HELP.

Not to start another flame war but you have to admit oblio actually has a point this time even though he can be a pain in the ass. As for RA I wish him luck and hope I never find myself in his situation. And for those of you who are going to say I just contradicted myself, I'm not. I don't think alot of crackers crimes do warrant crimianal charges except in extreme cases I.E. when they put the isp cloud 9 out of buisness.Quote:

R_A_, I know that you have been left hanging, and it must suck so bad. I hope that all charges are dropped and you can sue the people that made your life miserable for you these past few weeks. basically, he is a 16 year old boy who was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (or as he would call it, "lets impress our peerjuanas"). Now he faces getting 20 hours of community service and his parents are getting a nice big fine which leads to his departure...His parents have cut his internet access until he never does drugs again, attends church weekly and gets his grades up...
You can't be serious. That sounds like an episode of the Brady Bunch.
RA- Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. Minor drug charges rarely result in doing any time. I've had more trouble with the police than I care to talk about on AO. A few years back I was nailed for "criminal wreckless w/a deadly weapon", which is a felony, and only got a slap on the wrist....no time. With drug charges you will most likely have to piss around with some bullshit classes, community service, roadcrew....as well as court costs and possible restitution. If you have a good lawyer...you can walk on almost anything. Anymore though, I stay out of trouble. Now I'm just your average computer geek with strong interest in security and hacking. :rolleyes: Anyway, I hope everything turns out alright. Haraam77...:jams:
