Good-Bye AO From NetSyN

I have been using AO for a long time but never really took much intrest in going to the fourms till they removed the news. I joined AO for a while and didnt really come here much and lost my sign in name so i made a new one almost 2 months ago and have made over 150 post and in my time had 6 green boxs and ect.

I met many good people like
ennis whos danceing avatar is fun to watch and post as fun to read.
Remote_Access_ who was the first person i accually really talked to on irc.antionline.com
JParker[] who though can be a total dick head is almost as smart as he thinks himself to be
chsh who thought i didnt personly like and i gave a hard time to and got returned the same favor he really isnt as bad as i thought him to be... i was just being a ass to him
Techie Chick who i didnt really get to know nor do i honestly really like her views because she seems to think everything that happens she understands completly and always knows the truth which is just not true
oblio i really didnt like some of ur views but u are belive it or not a smart person.. i just wish ud start helping more then hurting
JP i would like to say good things about.. but all i can say really is that he runs a nice site because i never really talked to him on a personal level
halo who was probly the only one that accually tryed to get me to stay on AO
Dr_Toker who i didnt not know beyond the fourms always seemed to have his head in a cloud (of smoke) still gives sumthing to AO that not many do.. and thats style


Many people i will miss hearing and i will pop in to read the responses to this thread and maybe responde one last time to you guys... but after that i doubt i will or even should come back.. i just dont think i really gave anything to AO that isnt already here..

i cant say that i'll miss you because i don't know too much about you and your postings.
anyway if i read your decision i don't understand that.you told you met good guys with good postings like ennis,remote_access then:KEEP GOING AND STAY HERE.
the reason for me to visit these site and to post is:
i'll learn ,give my knowledge to other and back.it doesn't matter that somebody gives me negativ antipoints.
these forums live from ppl like you,ennis,matty_cross...and so on
leaving is the wrong decision!!!

i hate posts like this. Netsyn, this is obviously an ego boosting post. are you not secure enough to leave antionline without knowing if people cared that you were ever here? do you think people will take a minute out of their lives every feb 27 to remember your departure?

... Anyways Net syn I appriciate the shout out. I really hate to see you leave. And really i was thinking about taking this site off of my "to click list as well". However, you were one of the coolest people on here. And one of the smartest with out being a dick about it. Yeah, I always enjoyed reading your posts. I think you should hang for a while. Or why dont you PM me and give me your email address. Then we don't need AO to stay in touch. ESP if I don't come back,
i need some reference for security, and tech shyt. Hit me back with that email address

Oh, you'll be back...you'll be back I tells ya!! I tried leaving ones (not really :) ), wasn't easy, they don't make those AO patches strong enough. It's not as easy as quitting smoking mate! :)

If you don't want to say why your leaving, I'm sure all the worthwhile members of this board will respect and understand that decision...

You will be missed, you contributed quite a lot to this forum...

im not to sure why im leaving i just dont really feel like i belong where i am. i might even become a chat nazi for kicks and laughs yet still keep the same input... but i think im basicly done with careing about AO for now.. i dunno if ill come back or if i even should in my opinion


as for why im leaving i have my reasons. i found myself being hypocritical and doing dumb stuff to try and get accepted in irc chat and i didnt like how i felt while doing it so i will refuse to go back there now... and i think my actions there made me look worse then how i felt about them which was pretty bad. sorry for not using cap locks infront of sentances but caplock and shift dont seem to wanna work and i have no clue why.. haha ;x


as for oblio again i respect ur views and it may be half true... i would like to feel missed of course or i wouldnt have bothered posting this really... i gave alot of time to AO and found myself posting more then 5 post at least on a daily basis and ranking in the greenies which was always a good feeling... but i started careing more about the greens and what other people thought then what i thought..

so im guessing its best that i move on

I read a thread today, it said something like..

"how do you do a port buffer overflow"...or something like that.

I can't perfectly quote him cause it was taken down 5 min. later and his nick has been kicked..

however, my being the only one who got to respond in that time, took it easy on him...simply because I was hoping to read NetSyn's response. I guess I sort of go speechless when I read lame posts like that....and I think we can all agree that NetSyn's flaming seems to hit our thoughts right on the nail.

It isn't that he's mean...cause I have really loved his posts, he knows alot and has contributed much to almost every topic. But he knows how to put someone in their place,
and sometimes that's what it takes.......sometimes we need a harsh word to kick our ass in line when we ask the dumb questions.
NetSyn was great at this task...............as I'm sure you would all agree

NetSyn, your contributions will surely be missed by many. I'm not one of those people, and yes, for quite a while I disliked you. Honestly, part of me still does, but I cannot deny that you did contribute something to these forums and helped to make them a better place for people to learn.

I enjoy reminding people of thier actions but just recently i did something i regret when i was trying to put someone in thier place and became a hypocrite and i hated myself for it... thats one of the main reasons i am thinking twords leaving... i became a hypocrite in one of my flames and i was no better then the person i was flameing..

Don't sweat it. It could happen to anyone. It's not a tragedy. Just learn from your mistakes.

Don't worry about making a fool of your self. I've made plenty of mistakes also. I don't think you were a member then but I made quite an arse out of my self and I thought I'd never be welcome here again. But it's no biggie, don't sweat it. You'll be back in no time..

Wow... the first noble reason I have seen to leave. I wish everyone would realize that there's more to AO than the greenies. Some of the coolest people I know are on here. It's like a big happy family!...okay, not quite, but you get my point.
