It's software companies that charge $300 for cut down student versions of software that cause them to be pirated in the first place. First I have to pay the school to teach me how to use it, then I have to pay the software company to practice so I can pass. If I don't learn it, who would my employer hire to use it? Sounds like they are shooting themselves in the foot to me.
