I don't see your justification for having a program to merge executables.
If you created a false executable or used a fake virus (as suggested by Freeon) then that would suffice in teaching your daughter a lesson. Because the truth is...If the attachment was malicious then it wouldn't matter if it was merged with a valid program or not...The damage would already be done by executing the attachment!
I think you should follow the advice of FreeOn!
