The truth of the matter is that the site does not provide value anymore. Why? Because it does not sit on the edge of what's really going on in security these days.
The "glory days" were because those who were on the cutting edge were able to express and share things without being censored by a large corporation with a legal department.
The term "when the big money shut em down" comes to mind.
Do any of you remember when you could actually post exploit code here and have it discussed and learned from? I do. Do you know what would happen if you did that today in the context of what's truly happening in the realm of security? You would be shown the BANNED sticker before you had a chance to hit "post".
Anyhow, like mentioned before, those who used to be core contributors here are still in touch...now, let's see if you can find out where we hang.![]()
