France is at the top of my list for places to travel too.
the french from what ive heard dislike the american culture, u.s. exports its pop culture to the world i.e. mcdonalds, n-sync, levis, television, movies etc. etc.
the french would rather sit in a cafe, smoke, talk about art, fashion and politics where the AVERAGE american would rather sit on the couch, munch on some doritos and watch the king of queens.
two very different cultures.

ive heard the french think americans are uncultured, uninformed and rather vulgar.
ive heard americans say the french are rude, pompous and arrogant.

guess ill wait till i see paris for myself b4 i develop my own opinion.
