Lets talk a little bit about WEP (Wired Equivelent Protection). You can configure it with a secure 128 bit encyption key. You set that on the gateway(router). All access points need to have a matching passprhase to the corresponding 128 bit encyption key passphrase.

Pure- Your right this can be hacked, ive heard it on Tech TV from professionals. I just dont know how to set a VPN. No knowledge on how to do that. Tell me. I got a spedstream wifi router. I connect threw my access point.

If your working on a wireless network or in a place where u at high risk for war driving (ie business districts with many companys assured to use a wireless system) not only use a fire wall and a pass word but Id have a heavy W.E.P (Wireless.Encryption.Protection). If not someone using an antenna attached to thier laptop computer (running some type of war driving software of course) can pick up on your signal and what ever is passing on that signal (ie passwords , personal information ect) at that time can be picked up and used to thier advantage.

sry i must have been writing my post while u were posting yours. (directed to Propaganda)
