Well, Gee guys, hands up who has never ever used a copied version of any software before or listned to a copyied cd or watched a copied dvd.
I would imagine that no-one could put their hand up.
So what if some one is using a copied O/S, it doesnt make one little bit of difference to anyones life around here now does it??
Hands up who has never ever slagged of an O/S before.
What.... no hands up again!!
The way I look a Linux is that it is competing in a market that is prodominatley owned by Microsoft. Even the most devoted Linux user proberbly started out with a Windows O/S!
The problem with Windows is that it is very very easy to use, so when some one tries Linux for the first time and finds that they have to mount drives, change settings etc just to listen to a cd, they are going to lose intrest pretty quick and go back to Windows.
Its easy for some 1337 dood who thinks he knows all there is to know about linux to just flame someone who asked a question, trying to make out he is some big shot linux user, when if he had just helped the person most people would have gone "wow, he knows what hes on about". Instead they just go"wow, what a ***** all he cant answer the question so instead he flames them. he must be soooo 1337".
I just dont see where all the shite in this thread has come from. Who gives a **** if hes using a copied O/S and who gives a **** if someone wants to slag an O/S off for what ever reason.
Hey the world is going to carry on spinning and SuSE isnt going to disapear because someone said a nasty thing about it!
